You need an active author profile, so the other authors in the group can contact you. if you look underneath my profile, there is a send message option in the drop down menu. You need t o claim your author profile to do this and add details to your author page.
As I said, scroll down to the bottom of the unclaimed author page you mention and click 'this is me'.
