I have accounts on Kobo and Amazon, and use D2D for everything else. Kobo has good worldwide reach. D2D gets all the more niche players, including Apple and Hoopla (digital service for libraries). I'm a big fan of going wide for distribution, but other folk have success with a pure Amazon play.
