I wondered because of Colvin's name, Virgil, if an upcoming mystery might be set in Rome. Of course, I thought of the Aeneid since THE Virgil wrote it.
Like Virgil, my classical names sadly aren't directly connected to any purposeful homage. However, having been to Rome (long, long ago)--setting him there amidst an investigation is a fine idea.
