I had the same experience with *your* recommendation of Jeff Vandermeer's Annihilation. I read it (loved it) thanks to your tweet a few months ago when it first came out.

Gaiman sold me on Light as well, though it was in audiobook under his "Neil Gaiman Presents" imprint, for which he wrote a brief appreciation/introduction.
I love Gaiman and am in the middle of Mr. Penumbra right now and loving it so now of course I must check out Light... Thanks!
