Okay-- Quickening was done two weeks ago-- I'm currently working on a Christmas story called Winter Ball!
Yay. I'm so glad to read this. I just finished reading the Little Goddess series again for the 6th time. Love the books!
Oh, thank goodness!! Just reviewed Bonfires, if you have a mo maybe you could read the review? (hoping I don't need to add a link here and it's easy for you to find, because I'm still feeling goodreads out but it seems kinda redundant...). Because it sorta explains my utter relief and excitement that there may be a sequel.
LOL-- found it, and it was lovely--and yes, you ARE a masochist! But a lovely one, so that's okay. Anyway-- the Bonfires sequel is in the lineup. DSP has asked that I write the fourth Mannies first (they schedule WAY in advance) and then Crocus (the tentative title). But it's there :-)
And I'm so glad you love the stories--being on the reread shelf is my highest honor. And I understand about "I loved it but it's too painful to read/watch again." I feel that way about 12 Monkeys, The Fisher King, and The English Patient. Once changed my life--I need to be able to function.
Oh god, I totally wasn't kidding about getting used to navigating gr, and now I sound like a complete luddite, but I only just found your response now? So, um, apologies its taken literally months to say it, but many thanks - a little bit for taking the time to read my review, but mostly again for writing awesome stuff (even the bits that hurt to read ;-)) So glad there'll be a Bonfires sequel eventually, I'll be able to stop worrying about them all (damn the weird things motherhood does to you! Child worry gene: totally activated; setting: unable to be turned off, even for fictional characters! Lol). Cheers!
LOL-- It's all good. I've just discovered FB messages left for me years ago-- technology is so weird.
theres a sequel to Bonfires?!?! yay! is there a release date yet? and the "i loved it but its too painful to read again" thing, thats how i feel about your book Keeping promise rock. i've literally been trying to find the strength to read it again cuz i loved it so much, but the heartbreak i remember has been stopping me. i will read it again one day though! its too good not to.
