Rick Soper Awesome! Thank You so much for your advice! I love the cringe factor comment on writing, that makes me smile. As does the "drunk/hate" advice probably being the best direction you could probably get in editing your book, that's just great! It's all wonderful advice and I greatly appreciate you taking the time in your overwhelmingly busy schedule to give it to me. It's already printed, framed, and staring down at me from the wall above my computer as the blueprint going forward. Thank You!

Meran I'm not a writer, but I read A LOT... And I enjoyed A LOT ( :) ) the advice you gave to Rick. It sure rings true! I have Sweetheat but haven't read it yet. I probably bought it thinking it was a standalone... Now I'm going to have to buy the first one. I was puzzled as to why I bought your book, honestly. But, reading HOW you wrote that advice, I realized I must have read a short story you wrote in an anthology and liked it. (I do that. Yes, I'm one of those rare readers who actually ENJOY short stories. I also may use them to find new, interesting authors.) Thanks for your efforts; keep them coming. :D Now, I'm off to visit Rick's page on Goodreads. Lol

Martta Karol Chelsea, I just read your terrific--and spunky--advice to author, Rick Soper, and loved it. May I cut and paste to share it on a private Facebook page for a small local (Vancouver WA) writers' critique/support group?
