Angela Oliver I know nosferatu and lycanthropy, and -vore generally suffixes words relating to diet, so I was wondering if Nost meant something in latin or some such (although google indicates it means "tillage" in latin). I suppose sanguisvore would be the appropriate term for vampires.

I like the name Lycanthrope (also seen lycan, lycane etc), but suffixing it with "crould" felt a little hard - I was wondering if that actually meant anything or was just a suffix you'd made up.

Kimberley It was made up. Some phrases in the novel were of a latin origin and some creatures were actual mythical beings from different cultures, but being fiction, as you would know, you can change things to how you want them to be and create things that no one else has created. I personally did a mix of everything.

Angela Oliver Yep. I know. I liked the other creature - the kinda-like-a-ghoul (I forget his kind's name).
