Brandon- Thank you so much for your quick response. I'm so sorry for your loss, Gabe must have been one heck of a guy and you have honored his memory with the character of Donnie.I was thinking without knowing of course the full details, the reason why Donnie died was for you to show the randomness of life.We truly never know what will happen next, and it's best to live life to the fullest.It still gets harder though to say goodbye to those you love.I guess that's why Donnie's death in the book had me in tears.

Thank you again! Also, I noticed you were now reading Then the Stars Fall. I wanted to let you know that it isn't really a sequel to Shattered. I'm not sure why it is listed as that, but we are trying to rectify that labeling! :)

Brandon- I guess since it takes place in El Dorado someone thought it was the second book in a series.That's alright, I'm enjoying the book.

This did help me understand Iris a lot more from Then the Stars Fall though which I will now read again just because I want to. :-)
