Kate Wrath Love that! It's funny... like the characters might be there all along, and when we focus in on them, we start to see to see their stories. :)

Jane The character of The Green Woman, by the end of the story is unable to distinguish between her dreams and reality. Sometimes I understand how she felt. I think you have to write as if the characters are real and the scene is really taking place. In a real situation all the characters are doing something. They're not static just because the writer is focusing on one of them. Once you imagine them all in movement, all with their different reactions, it opens up so many more possibilities for the story. That's probably why I've written so many stories based on The Green Woman—I haven't been able to get all the stories that went off at a tangent into the books.
