Yes!! I loved maven and I think I have to say that a little bit of me still does.
Me too I still ship Maven and Mare! (No Cal or Kilorn!) I mean, what's not to love about a quiet prince who decides to kill everyone and take over? (I'm not insane am I?))
YES! I love Maven too! I still can't believe the ending! But I will NEVER EVER ship Mare with anyone but Maven.
Just a prediction, I have a feeling that Maven is being controlled Mentally and Physically by Elara. Even in Glass Sword, his hesitant physique seemed unlike him.
Maven is amazing because we don't know what to expect from him.The most amazing moment from Glass Sword is when he found her and burnt the mark.I was shocked she survived it,he let her live, gave her messages,he's making her suffer for the sake of her opinion about him.She hates him and she loves him.I think Mare was finally a character that didn't give up on her love for boy in like 24 hours.Maven is adorable psychopath.I wasn't scared of him even in the first book,I had a theory he's controlled by his mother that would prove him innocent but I like it way more when Victoria didn't change his character even tho what happened between him and Mare was rough.I also think he's stupid for not seeing Mare likes him in the first book and not kissing her! Oh Cal,You don't know what luck you have..
Maven is my all-time favorite villain (mostly because Elara's the villain, not him) and one of my all-time favorite characters!
Maven is the only reason I read the story, his personality is so well written and character depth is astonishing. Honestly he's like my biggest crush from all the book guys you can get. The little Psycho Prince.
