Hannah How interesting! Thanks for the quick response! One of my favorite books, "The Lamplighter" by Maria Cummins, had characters on a steamer that exploded. I'll have to check out "Full Steam Ahead" for sure! :)

Karen Witemeyer Wow! Thanks, Hannah. I'm so glad you've enjoyed my stories. There is a follow-up e-novella to Full Steam Ahead, called Love on the Mend that releases next month. If you remember young Jacob, the runaway boy Darius and Nicole take in, this is his story. Once he's all grown up, of course. :-) He finally returns home to lay his past to rest only to find it still alive and kicking.
