Dina While that is a good and valid question, I agree with Freida, there won't be a story to begin with.

A.C. Sherman Yes. And if every character was perfect and did not have insecurities, traumas and misplaced desires, there would be no conflict and there would be no story to tell. Freida would be writing about how nice it is to watch paint dry.

A We all relate to characters in different ways.

Tobias There's a difference between not the best decisions and flat out stupid ones. While characters can't be perfect they shouldn't be doing stupid things just for the sake of a plot.
