Unrealistic books have far more utility to me for expressing the reality of human experience. Oddly.
I agree. Have you read Tim O'Brien's The Things They Carried? On the surface, it's about the Vietnam war, but underneath it's really about how to tell truer stories through fiction than non-fiction. Check it out!
