Both my mum and I loved this story! It was a pleasant surprise for a pair waiting impatiently for Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen. Thank you so much for providing us with a book while we wait. :-) Cheers!
I love your books, but "Mountains of Mourning" and "Borders of Infinity" are unalloyed joys, and "Penric's Demon" rightfully takes its place among them.
I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this jewel of a novella. It's perfect. But I really want to know more about what happens to Penric now that I've had a taste. Don't worry I can wait a couple of years while it perchlorate around in your amazing brain. Anything you write is appreciated. Love from a fan, Alice
“It is not impossible that the characters could have further short … adventures someday, a series in miniature”—well, I’m very glad that it wasn’t impossible at all, and we do now have quite a substantial series of adventures featuring Pen and Des. Thanks for giving it all to us in your semi-retirement!
