dianne b. i always remember when Mma Ramotswe first bought the house on Zebra drive and said "yes" to the woman (and young son with crossed ankles) who asked if Precious needed a housekeeper. How happy that made the woman and her son! Mma R. noting how easy it was to put a smile on someone else's face & wondering why we don't all do it more often.
It is easy, and thanks to Precious, i do it more often now.

David I just finished reading the First book in The Sunday Philosophers Club Series, and thoroughly enjoyed. I found the character of Isabel very admirable and interesting in many ways. I have yet to really build up a good picture of her in my mind. Probably every reader will have a very different picture of how she might look physically, her clothes etc.
Can't wait to read the next book.

Simon May I am fascinated by the concept of "kindness"; so often it spills into indulgence, which is not nearly as benevolent as kindness.
