Victor Giannini I know what you mean, I wish I could make a collection in the future and still have the illustrations from Carrier Pigeon, it would be so fantastic.

Nick Kolakowski The artists might be open to collaboration, given the right circumstances...

Victor Giannini when a publisher with more funds picks me up, yeah, it's something i'd pursue

Nick Kolakowski Writing a graphic novel would be fun, too.

Victor Giannini I did that once, but I made the mistake of drawing it, too. I LOVED working on it, but only finished the first of two volumes. Each is about 200 pages ... well the first was self published YEARS ago, "Skeightfast Dyephun" , but Vol 2, with MUCH better art and momentum, is sitting next to me right now .... for years. It takes me 10 hours per page, from pencils to digital, and I'm not even using colors. It takes soooo long ... and I still love it.

I'd love to write a graphic novel for another artist, I have plenty of ideas, or vice versa if my weird style connected with someone.

What about you? What would your ideal dream project be?

Nick Kolakowski Ah, so hard to answer. I always wanted to take a popular cultural icon of some sort and warp either he or she totally out of control, in ways that would make some fans demand my head on a stake and others cheer. But I've never seriously dug deep into that one.
