Ann Thanks for your answer! I'm really looking forward to your new project.

When I first went looking for Prison of the Soul some years back, I couldn't find it. (Possibly because I was searching for something called Cottage 13.) Then, maybe a couple of months ago, I read the preview for Prison of the Soul on Amazon. I did enjoy it, but to be honest, I'm somewhat averse to the ebook form as I spend far too much of my time using technology as it is. Even so, I'm planning to read it over the Christmas holidays when I have some time away from my studies.

This is pretty embarrassing for someone who claims to be a huge fan of yours, but I've never actually read any of your fiction. When I first read The Writer's Little Helper, I hadn't even started high school yet, so your category of fiction didn't really appeal to me (although your writing advice hit the mark – and it's stuck with me ever since.) I did go looking for some of your fiction then, but didn't get much further than my local library, and since then I hadn't thought to try a another search. I still do read your non-fiction books on a regular basis – The Writer's Little Helper when I'm looking for inspiration, and You Can Write A Novel when I want to evaluate a new idea or go through your editing checklist.

So I'd like to take this chance to say I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to connect with you. Right now I'm wishing I could think of some better questions to ask!
