Hannelore Cheney Just finished This Thing Of Darkness, my first-ever pre-order. I love the whole series, and adore Fiona. She's strange, but yet oddly familiar...Do you have a certain number of 'Fiona' books in mind? The mystery of her origins really intrigues me - do you know them yet, or are you waiting for inspiration? Thanks for creating her and I'm wondering if we'll ever see her on the big or little screen. In my head I've tried to cast the role, but haven't come up with anyone worthy!

Harry Bingham Sweet of you, Hannelore - thanks! And yes, I do know the mystery of Fiona's origins: pretty much every last detail. No, I don't know how many books in total. Maybe 10? Maybe 12? And there *was* one film made for TV in the UK . . . plus now some Hollywood interest. But who knows? Those things are talked about a lot, and don't usually happen. (And anyway, I prefer Fiona-on-the-page to Fiona-on-the-screen.)
Thanks, again, though. Comments like yours mean a lot.

Hannelore Cheney Thank you, I'm pleased there are more books in the series! As for Fiona on film, I agree, the characters in the book always outshine the ones on the big or little screen.
