You're more practiced/evolved, I think, when numerous ideas are clamouring for you that much. ;) What resonates with me is the faces. I find myself not caring how characters look, which is at odds with the clothing, physical gestures, constantly "pouring a cup of coffee" and other detail many authors focus on. I far prefer authors who reel us into their thoughts, having us sympathize with feelings.
