I read the first Captive Prince this summer! I decided to hold off on the second one until the third one comes out though at which point I'll reread the first one to really get into it. I'll definitely look up the rest later.
I also have always had an interest in the Asian Idol industry, specifically the Japanese Idol industry which is one of the reasons you could say I'm learning Japanese.
Umm, books with very different characters. About a month ago I read "Lies We Tell Ourselves" by Robin Talley and it was amazingly well written. It covers race and sexual identity with two very different female protagonists.
If you don't mind BDSM, then "The Violet and the Tom" by Eve Ocotillo (online fiction) was also very interesting. Most of the books I read are generally BDSM-centred although I do read the occasional contemporary novel (such as this one).
I don't mind the ramblings at all! I'm always excited to get book recommendations.
