Thanks Adele. Good advice. I read a series once where the lead girl prayed for the safety of her future husband to be (not knowing who he was). It then crossed to a young man who was serving overseas in the military in a dangerous area, so of course the readers think "Oh wow, they're going to end up together. Then many books later, she married someone else! Very important to keep those threads going.
