I have a deep side of me that sees things as hilarious when they become so bleek; certainly not bombings and all, but there's a lot that humor handles and we rise above the conditions. A year or two ago, I was so grateful for Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert - they made life bearable. The human spirit is buoyant.
