I played a few years ago but then the team broke-up. We are trying to get another one started up again. It is a lot of fun but we skate on quads now, not blades. Check out your local skating rinks, a team is probably nearby. You could try recruitment night. Thanks for answering!
I did know that it was played on quads, not blades. I actually did a lot of research on it as I was writing. Did I get most everything else correct? The blades were my sophisticate version of roller derby :) There is one in Baltimore which is close to me. I hope to be able to go to one someday.
Yes you did a good job, there has been a few changes since to the start of each jam. One of the girls I do Sk8 Aerobics with actually told me about the book.
