I am curious about what information is extant about his life! He discovered the Straits of Magellan and his voyage named the Pacific Ocean. Wow. Died in the Philippines. I would be surprised if the Ataneo in the Philippines did not have something about his death. Also the Vatican Library in Rome would have references. This would be an interlocking puzzle. Definitely worth pursuing.
