Thanks for the reply. the mysteries of a book's travels from pen to publishing is totally unknown to readers, so some clarity here. And yes, all e-books should be in e-pub. It's a mystery how the library would have acquired a bootleg file - maybe a 'helpful' employee? the bad news is that all library books are now purchased through Overdrive, which I quite resent. I liked the old system of interloan, and since Overdrive has taken over, I sense a smaller chance of regional favourites getting a good chance at a wider audience. Gotta ask though - have you been to SA? It sounds as if you have. If you like stuff like that the Cape Town Aquarium is top notch. SA is one of my favourite places in the world and I would be wintering there if it wasn't for politics. I've driven around most of the country except for the desert, and since I travel alone I've been a bit uneasy about having a breakdown there. Anyway, thanks.
