Sophia I appreciate you sharing the history of Underneath the Honeysuckle Vine. Knowing that your stories are based on true events, whether they are your own or ones that have been passed down through family and friends, is immensely powerful. Your writing genuinely conveys that authenticity.

Finding out how Todd ignited what turned into a multigenerational, rich journey through time particularly touched me. It adds a great deal of emotional depth to follow the Jansan family from the 1940s through the Vietnam War era, and it's obvious that you have a great deal of respect for the past and its inhabitants.

I could really relate to the characters in Honeysuckle because of your passion for the human side of history .Thank you for honoring those stories and voices through your work I can't wait to read The Broken Circle and Shattered next!
