Matthew Mason Having read all six on BookSirens, I can't wait for book 7 (and everything else to come in future seasons) - the series is absolutely FANTASTIC, just saying.

R.D. Foster Aw, thank you so much, and thank you for the support! I know you were interested in Riley, and I can definitely say she steps further into the picture in Book 7. I’m only a few chapters away from finishing it right now, so I hope you’re ready for the wild ride of the Season One finale.

Matthew Mason Literally cannot wait for an excuse to re-read the first 6 books to dive into the 7th - I check your page on BookSirens at least once every week or two to see if another/the next ARC has appeared that can be claimed (with how fast the last few showed up and all) lol

R.D. Foster That honestly just made my night, thank you so much for that. Between college and Book 7 ending up about ten chapters longer than what I’m used to writing, I’ve fallen a little behind my usual monthly release pace, but I really do think this one will be worth the wait.

And if you’re curious, the first chapter is already up on my website, so if you ever want a little peek at what the first half of the book has in store, it’s there waiting for you. 😊🔥

Matthew Mason I've got my request in for one of the 30 spots on BookSirens :) - can't help but hope I get lucky enough to get one of them :P - I imagine there's a LOT of people vying for those spots :P - can't wait to dive in, even if I have to wait til it launches and I grab it that way :P

Matthew Mason oh I also mean to ask - did you know your BookSirens profile links to this page of yours here (I'm assuming it's an old page because it hardly has any of your books) - https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

R.D. Foster Matthew, honestly, consider your spot guaranteed on BookSirens, even if I have to increase the ARC limit to make it happen. The main issue right now is that I’m still about four chapters away from finishing the book, so I’ve been trying to get that done first.

To be real, the laptop mess discouraged me a bit more than I wanted to admit, but I’m getting back on the grind now. My readers are a huge part of what keeps me going, and that motivation is helping me push this across the finish line. I really appreciate you being so excited for it.

Matthew Mason Well I definitely can't wait either way (even if I had to wait til it drops and I can grab the ebook :P ) - hopefully the last four chapters give you less trouble than the rest of the book, but don't rush on mine (or any other eager to devour it readers' eagerness :P - good things comes to those who wait and as much as I absolutely hate having to wait for things I'm eager for, I would hypocritically/contradictorially(? idk if that's even a word - hypocritically isn't quite the right word there either though) - MUCH rather wait weeks or months or even years longer for a product be it a book or game or artwork or movie etc to come out and it be right than get a rushed product :D - so from at least one VERY avidly eager reader of your books, take all the time you need - I won't be going anywhere :P

and that's a shame - was it just the whole having to source a new computer and all absolutely devastated whatever flow/progress you'd been making or something else - if you don't mind my asking? My ADHD makes it SOOOO very easy for me to distract and derail myself from things once I get going and I am the WORST procrastinator too so it sucks when I finally get productive and then my own mind derails me and then I just lose the motivation to start over :P

Hopefully you have PLENTY of eager readers helping motivate/support you/etc not just a few - I can't imagine there's any shortage of people who enjoy your books if they've gotten themselves hooked :P
