Just finished your book last week, Jennifer, and this answer doesn't surprise me at all. You wrote about mothers who lose babies, who donate milk for someone else's child, who make impossible choices, and you wrote about them with such humanity that "compassion for someone you wouldn't normally think about" feels exactly right. That's what stayed with me after the how-to chapters: the reminder that behind every feeding decision is a whole person navigating their own story. Thank you for that lens. Already passed my copy to a neighbor.
