PercyJacksonCat Hi Mr. Riordan (is it wrong to say that? Should we get informal?)! I started reading your books from a very young age I think, and I've read them over and over and over again. I write books myself (I can see your style a element of mine: the books you read when you're young can prove a big impact), though none are finished. It's hard to come up with ideas when you feel like, "Hmm, this isn't good enough." How do you deal with that? Also, I don't mind if you answer this or not. Although I am a MASSIVE Percy Jackson fan, I bet you have thousands of comments like this. Thank you!

42_is_the_answer Some call this 'killing your darlings.' That might help in any reaserch efforts.
