Alyssa What assumption is that?

Jess Nather Geez, what a rude question.
Lisa, your family is super interesting, and I admire the work you've done to honor them in your writing.
I think a lot of folks really can't handle the concept of mixed-race people.

Donna Krefft Jiarui, why would you ask such a question and in such a rude way? People write book about dogs, doesn't mean they are one. Why would Ms. See need to justify herself to you. Why are people so rude these days?

Jiarui No because actually I think all your books feature asian women on the covers and have lots of chinese culture as well. It just feels weird and like you are profiting off asian culture by writing only books of that. Besides, you also seem to mention how exotic the setting is and how 'different' the culture is on blurbs and stuff. Like romanticising and targeting all of the books towards a predominantly white audience. Notice how the people enjoying your books seem to be mostly white?
