Hi S.L. Thanks for your reply. Haven't read the Immortal Instrument series, so I cannot comment. In regard to the book with which I have been most disappointed, well, Ghost Story by Peter Straub immediately springs to mind. I first read it back in the early 80s, but just couldn't finish it, as I found it so dull and boring. Also, there've been a few Stephen King novels which have failed to live up to my expectations, especially The Tommyknockers, Duma Key and Dr Sleep.
I HATED Lord of the Flies too. So boring and dull. Have never understood why the book is rated so highly by some people.
I did Immortal Instruments the end of last year and LOVED it. It reminded me of The Morganville
Vampires and Vampire Academy mixture :) But so LOVED The Ancient Guardian Series So MUCH xxoo
