I've just finished The Void, and am so enraptured by these books! I pre-ordered Jilo and cannot WAIT until it's delivered to my Kindle on April 26th!

I'm sure! I've always admired writers, and have always wanted to be one, but at 74 it may be a tad too late. I do have a t-shirt that says "I'm a Writer. I do not tolerate reality." Wear it a lot!
Agreed! I also thought the author was female. Took a little investigating to figure out writer was male. I absolutely LOVE these books and was so hooked I took over a year to read the 3rd one because I didn't want them to end. Was really glad to find a book just on Jilo. Also savoring this one. It makes me so sad to end this series. I absolutely love every character. Very clever!
