Alpha females always have an Anubis form?! That raises so many more questions! It is terribly cruel of you to make me wait so long for the continuing adventures of my favorite metanatural.

Maybe that is why they are such good authors...they don't mind (and possibly enjoy) the torture of characters and/or readers.
