This is all a bit strange. I think I have two author's sites. One as C. Hampton Jones and One as Constance Hampton Jones.
Whenever I try to change the Constance Hampton Jones I get the message that only somebody with librarian status can change it. I asked for librarian status on the Constance Hampton Jones account but never got a reply. When I ask for it again, I get the message that it is still pending.
So: I need to merge Constance Hampton Jones with C. Hampton Jones, but I can only do this when I have librarian status, of which Goodreads seems to assume that I got it.
What now?

Hmmm. I think that's beyond my experience. I would suggest you post a message in the Goodreads Librarian Group explaining your situation. Somebody who actually knows how to fix it will no doubt volunteer themselves.
