Arch Bala I've read 28 titles from Josh and Fair Game's a perfect suggestion! I loved the romance and the guessing game in it! Elliot and Tucker are just two wonderful characters!

Josh Thanks, Arch! :-)

Plainbrownwrapper I second the Perfect Day rec. I love that story. I'm not so much a fan of your spec fic -- sorry, Josh! -- but for mysteries, I'd go with Adrien or maybe Come Unto These Yellow Sands.

Josh Yellow Sand might be tricky because of the addiction element. That is very uncomfortable for some readers. But I do love that book!

Spiderorchid What about „The Ghost wore yellow socks“? It’s funny, a bit romantic and a classic mystery – something for everyone. (Okay, and it’s a personal favourite of mine… ;) )

Linda ~ they got the mustard out! ~ Fair Game was my first JL too and a great read. Also have to second The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks, as it's quite charming in its own strange way.

Clary I think Fair Game is the safe choice. I was flat-out smitten by Josh's writing after that one and then went and read almost the entire backlist. Still have a few to go. It's a challenge since it's so long.

Johanna Spiderorchid — The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks was my very first Josh Lanyon book. Followed quickly by I Spy Something Bloody... and the rest of Josh's backlist. :-)

Spiderorchid Johanna – I know what you mean: with this author, you start with one book and then you just have to read them all.
