What a terrific idea! Your approach allows you to use the theme of kept secrets with a different character and setting. My characters move through time, of course, and that keeps the writing fresh (I hope). Keep up the good work and take care!
Hi Dan! Yes, it took me awhile to figure out that what was so appealing to me about my current novel was the secrets, and that's what it shared with Rosetta's story. It's also what I find so intriguing about Olive Oatman's story. I love the different approaches to keeping things fresh!

Hi Mary! Oh I haven't forgotten all the work you did to set up our discussions! I've set aside both of the projects I mentioned above for the time being and just finished a draft of a novel set during the Revolutionary War. I'm excited about it, but still have a lot of work to do! That said, I'll be getting in touch for sure when my next book is finally on its way!
