That truly is great advice. And I have to seriously support the editing part. I have given up on books that are poorly edited - spelling and grammar are so important - even when I've enjoyed the story premise. I have continued to read less interesting storylines on books that are well written because they don't hurt my 'grammar nazi' brain.
