Michael, you would be a great Harry Bosch!
As I watch the series I find that it is obvious that you have been involved because Titus nails Harry Bosch. After watching the first season my husband has realized that I was right all along that these are great stories and he needs to read the books.
Yes, I recommend these books constantly to friends who have never read detective fiction before. Myself, I prefer hard Sci-Fi like "The Expanse" or Roman adventures 100BC-100AD, but picked up The Black Echo and was completely and totally HOOKED! Delicious!
