Aw, I'm glad you can relate to the books. The power exchange is so very powerful and emotional -- it's one of my favorite parts of writing BDSM stories. :)
I think that is what makes for a great dom/sub relationship, for both the dominant and submissive to be able to turn over power to the other. Most think that a dominant always has to be a dominant, but that simply isn't the case sometimes the dominant needs to let go and allow his submissive to take control, to use him for her pleasure and vice versa
