I'm pretty sure nearly headless Nick in Carriger's world would only be completely headless if he wanted to be.
Based on her answer to your previous question.
Oh yes, but wouldn't he want to? He was always going on about how great it would be to be completely headless, because then he could join the Headless Hunt. Though having the choice of form, he might not have wanted to be any degree of headless at all.
And there is the question of how you saw yourself as mortal. I don't think he'd remember himself as headless, he only died that way.
Funny, I've never thought much of ghosts before I read a book that had an explination for it. :D
It makes the topic so much more interesting.
Haha you're probably right XD
Dude same though! I love how Carriger gives an explanation for virtually EVERYTHiNG in her Parasol Protectorate series. It may be the fact that a lot of the concepts are based somewhat on science, but dude. Carriger's works have given me so much more to think about regarding weres and vamps and other supernatual occurences I'm just like WHOA XD
Yeah, me too. I really appreciate an explination to things or people trying to explain. I always ask 'why' or 'how', and usually the answer is just 'because'. If you write about magic, which I love btw, it's sort of a cheat because you don't have to explain.

Thanks for answering my question. I just thought about it while reading Heartless, and then I kept wondering so I just had to ask. :)
