of course they drunk water, the dirty water in the middle ages was one of the reasons so many diseases were around and the fact that washing oneself was not something people did in those days.
But they did wash and not all of the water was dirty. That's what I mean about doing in depth research and looking beyond the superficial. :-) I can give chapter and verse on all this.
I didn`t say all the water was dirty :) but i didn`t know about the washing part but then again i am the first to admit I didn`t study english history in depth
