I was the same. Isn't it funny how dreams have a way of inspiring us? My protagonist was inspired by a dream I had too, I had six huge wings on my back and jumped off a clifftop, flying is the most sublime feeling. It was the most invigorating dream I've ever had, so much so, it inspired me to do the unthinkable and write not one, but two books.

I had a dream I was saved from a flood by an angel. I've never forgotten it
