I agree, I sit down and have a cuppa with a very fit 80 year old lady each fortnight, and the stories she tells me of the mischief they used to get up to when she was in her late teens and early twenties living in the South West is so interesting. She goes to rock concerts and footy games, her and her 83 year old partner often find themselves at the races, or driving for 2 hours somewhere for lunch... She is so amazing, walking three times a week, dancing and has sense an incredible sense of humour.
I love seeing older people do this, rather than stay at home and become depressed.
