I hope it does happen. I have all six parts of William Shakespeare's Star Wars and I've loved them all. (I like the way you not only refer to the Bard's works but drop references to other movies and...ha...even Kenny Rogers songs!)

I'm sure that Quirk Books, Disney, and Lucasfilm will green-light a William Shakespeare's take on The Force Awakens!
