Let me amend that it will be a little cliffhanger-ish, though I still think it is a very appropriate point to pause the story.
Although I only finished this a few hours ago I have to say that I totally understand your reasons. I really wanted to keep reading and find out what happened but it really did move so quickly that I need space to digest what's happened and just breathe. I was really worried that it was going to be a real cliffhanger but was pleased in the end that there was enough resolution for me to be able to wait (although impatiently!).
