You could've said it was all intentional and I would've bought it. (possibly) Look forward to reading a bit more about them. Luckily, it's a strong enough work to not suffer too much (for me at least)
It will get fixed soon. I promise. I love these characters, they're like real people for me. I've got two sequels planned as well.
...as soon as I can find a proof-reader that can keep up. In the mean time, the short stories will keep you going and I've got a weird motorcycle mystery comedy coming out soon too in which I wrote my first ever sex-scene. I actually felt dirty.
My friends were pestering me to write a romantic sex scene so it contains the least romantic, ugliest scene I could write. Two of my friends who are beta-reading it for me mailed back to see, yeah, it's funny but it's really horrible. Bingo!
Let me know what you think when you get to the end. My website is also very close to being up and running and will have two short stories for free on it.
Brilliant! I may have to read it again, just to see if Dave was right and the clues were there. At least I think I'm about 84% likely to read it again. (by the way, I have a strong suspicion you may have exactly the same sense of humour as me, up to and including having a funny number) bring on more tales I say. Can't wait.
These are my two favourite characters to date. I will do another R&D next year and the two short stories will be up pretty soon. Are you English because I've been told that it's a very English sense of humour? I'm glad you liked it and thanks for the very positive review.
