That helped a lot. Thank you very much. I just wanted to add it to my read shelf and a few other shelves as I remembered the book, but the title wasn't inside my head.

I found it. I should've remembered Earnhardt's Car,but it was an alternate scheme that threw my mind and the fact that the title said "stock car" instead of NASCAR was way weirder. I really think it should have been titled a little better and definitely could use a update since Chevy has had a lot more success since that publication.
