11811 (Eleven) I can't believe I'm the first one to throw out the abortion question. I thought the whole story was an allegory but apparently it wasn't initially intended to be so, and no one else got the impression other than myself. I also thought it was handled excellently in regards to demagoguery. You didn't pick a side. You told a story.

I'm intensely reminded of the lyrics to Slayer's Silent Scream.

I like to call it Encyclopedia Horror. There is no need to label it good or bad. If the words alone don't affect you, then it is more than likely that your emotional status cannot be helped.

Pro-Life, Pro-choice, Don't-Care... whatever. People need to read your story.

Brett Talley I could be but I don't think most great allegories start out that way. I started out thinking I want to write a cool story Bout reincarnation and the philosophical implications. Then as I went along I realized I have an opportunity to discuss an issue that's basically impossible to talk about in fIction or anywhere else for that matter.
