Russ Terrell: I claimed I would be able to post a real answer in a few days, and that was way more than a year ago! Apologies... and I did not forget the question. I looked back at that chapter and found that I remembered incorrectly what I had written. I thought I had made more mention of the effects of the Slytherins' unfair methods to get ahead in points, but you're absolutely right: I skipped right over that aspect of the situation, which was a major issue, and went only to the aspect that was unfair to Slytherins, which was secondary. It resulted in an unbalanced and incomplete take on that scene. Thank you very much for helping me see the inaccuracy. I will definitely revise for the second edition.
