When I got here (NYC) all those many years ago, the subway/bus fare was $.15 (NOT a typo) and you put another nickel in for a transfer! No tokens until later.
Hi Lewis - I love that! I've been here for 30 years and it's been interesting (and sometimes sad) to see the city change so fast.
